Reasons for FUNDING.
- To build a centralized peace academy for the initial training, orientation and re-orientation of members.
- To generate funds for the payment of monthly renumeration for the over 78, 000 volunteers of the organization nationwide.
- To build skill acquisition centers in the 6 Geopolitical Zones of the country with a view to providing skills acquisition training to our army of unemployed youths.
- For publicity, mass enlightenment and mobilization.
- For youth development and empowerment:
- (a) Harnessing the creative genius of the youths for efficient performance.
- (b) Identifying tools, techniques and the process of critical thinking, creativity, innovation and discovery as to facilitate creative problem solving.
- (c) Initiate Youth capacity building programme for empowerment, development and humanitarian objectives.
- Creating a data bank and reservoir of trained, skilled, qualified professionals and non-professional youths for easy accessibility of man power from the pool of well groomed youths anytime the society needs their services for either permanent or adhoc manpower for such national and international programmes such as: census, immunization exercises and voters registration.
- For environmental protection: Through
- (a) Provision of refuse bins, waste baskets, waste disposal bins and handy waste bags in public buildings, buses and schools in other to obliterate littered materials with the aim of combating environmental pollution.
- (b) Embark on tree planting and all other forms of environmental conservation strategies.
